She is a member of the DLA pipers Africa group, and lead it’s cooperate practice. She founded the CeCe Yara Foundation, a child-centered nonprofit organization ion 2016, to prevent child sexual abuse and to
provide access to care, information, protection and emergency intervention for children who have
experienced sexual abuse or who are at risk.
Bola has been recognized by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and included in its list of 100
inspiring and influential women from around the world for 2018 for her work in setting up the first free
child helpline and the first child advocacy center in Macaulay started her career at Luftanza in 2009 as a
business analyst for west Africa, responsible for regional results analyses, market and ad-hoc reporting,
competitor monitoring and sales planning.
In 2010, she took over leadership of the team as regional marketing manager, directing marketing
activities as well as business analysis, pricing and sales support across seven regions in West and central
Five years later, Maccaulay assumed the position of senior manager, customer, products and marketing
for Sub-Sahara Africa.
In 2017, her position transitioned into head sales, products and programs, where she was responsible
for the development and optimization of sales products, B2B Incentives programs, Sales promotions and
